Alex Iwobi
Super Eagles striker, Alex Iwobi is available for selection when Arsenal takes on Southampton in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Iwobi limped off in the 59th minute of Arsenal’s first Premier League game of the season; a 3-4 defeat to Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on August 14.
The attacker began full training earlier this week and the Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has now confirmed that the 20-year-old could play a part in Saturday’s game at the Emirates Stadium.
“Iwobi is back in the squad. The only one who is not ready is Aaron Ramsey.
“He is (in a) good way, but not completely ready for Southampton or Tuesday (when Arsenal face PSG in the UEFA Champions League),” Wenger said in his press conference on Friday.
Iwobi scored two goals in 13 league matches for Arsenal last season.
Not used in coach Rohr's coming out party against Tanzanian, it is more than likely he will be included in the WC qualifier against Zambia on October the 9th. Especially so since the Nigerian strikers failed to deliver and were only saved by Iheanacho's spectacular 78th minute goal
