Nigeria have made progress on the FIFA Coca-Cola World rankings according to the latest log released on Thursday by the world football body.
The Super Eagles made a leap from 67th to 64th in world, three places up from the last rankings.
Nigeria [below] are also 14th in Africa in a log that saw Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifying rivals all drop in the rankings.
Zambia, who Nigeria face next month dropped one place to 92nd in the world while Algeria dropped three places from 32nd to 35th in the world log and are number two on the continent.
Cameroun dropped five places on the ranking and are now 59th in the world and 11th in Africa while Ivory Coast is the top-ranked team on the continent.
