Iwobi injured as Arsenal suffer home defeat against Liverpool

Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, is feared to have cupped an injury as his team, Arsenal, were beaten 3-4 on Sunday by Liverpool at the Emirates.

Iwobi was hauled off the pitch just before the hour mark with the Gunners surprisingly trailing Liverpool 4-1.
Philippe Coutinho actually scored a brace to help Liverpool to the 4-3 victory over Iwobi’s Arsenal at the Emirates stadium in the 2016/17 EPL’s first heavyweight clash on Sunday.

Walcott opened scoring on the half-hour after benefiting from Iwobi’s pass before Coutinho levelled seconds before half-time
with a stunning free-kick. Lallana netted moments after the break and Coutinho added Reds’ third on 54 minute.

Mane and Oxlade-Chamberlain traded goals in quick succession before Chambers made it 4-3 with glancing header.

The Gunners attempted to at least snatch a point but they failed as they have now only won one in their last eight opening game of the season.
