Evaton have signed wales captain Ashley Williams from premier league rival Swansea for an undisclosed fee,thought to be £12m.
The 31 year old defender is new manager Ronald Koeman's third purchase after Senegal midfielder Idrisa Gueye and goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
They are also in talk to sign the Crystal Palace midfielder Yannick Bolasie and Sunderland defender Lamine Kone.
"I believe the club is going in the right direction"said Williams. The defender who has agreed a three-year deal with Merseyside club.
"He's been one of the greatest centre halves to ever play the game,so I look forward to leaning from him,"Williams told the clubs website.
Swansea had rejected an earlier £10m bid Evaton reports the BBC.
The signing comes a day after the England defender John Stone left the goodison park to join Manchester City for £47.5m.
Williams featured in Wale's run to the semifinal of Euro 2016 and has not played any pre-season games following an extended break.
He spent eight years with the swans,playing more than 300 games after joining for 300,000 from Stockport in March 2008.
As well as seeking deals for cote d'Ivoire international kone and Dr congo's Bolasie but 27,Evaton are also determined to keep Romelu Lukaku.
The 27-year-old Belgium striker has three years remaining on his contract at Evaton, and is reported to be interesting in his former club Chelsea.
